Who can be apped: A Checklist
1. Is the character from a DC, Marvel, or Image universe?
2. Do they have a name or codename?
3. Has their face been shown on panel?
4. Have they demonstrated a range of emotions?
5. Is there sufficient canon to write a personality section that is no more than 1/3 headcanon?

If the answer to all of these questions is yes, the character is appable.

Approximate age: DC and Marvel main universe applicants, keep in mind that New 616 follows Marvel's 'fifteen years' rule of thumb, in which all of the Silver and Bronze Age happened in the past 15 years.

Refererence Link: Please provide a link to a decent write-up of your character's history, or ye be at the mercy of the mods ability to google.
Base of operations/Hometown: Where does your character live/patrol/derp about?
Affiliation(s): If your character is on a team, attending a school, a reserve member of the Justice League or Titans OR formerly did such things and would be inclined to help them out, please say so here.

Appearance: Please provide a description or images, as you like.
Personality: This and the samples comprise the core of the application. Be thorough and provide examples where needed, particularly to support any headcanon. Please use a different color text for all headcanon. A decently-sized personality should be at least three paragraphs.

Nutshell: Give us something - a page, a panel, a gif, or a clip - that demonstrates the essence of your character to you. If you can't find the clip you need, use your words. We're looking for something that made you love your character.

Powers & Abilities: There is no power nerfing. Please be detailed, as only powers included in the application will be permitted.

Writing Samples
If your character maintains a secret identity, ideally, one sample should focus on the real person and the other on the mask.

First Person Sample:
This sample must take place in-game. Additionally, please read the setting and arrival posts before you choose your topic. It is unlikely that your character will need to do a post asking if their friends are here or where they are. Please note which network the character is posting to.

Third Person Sample (prose):
Please provide a writing sample as if you are posting to a log. The topic is up to you, but there should be some introspection along with the scene-setting and action. Linking to a thread containing at least 5 comments from your character is also acceptable. Either way, the sample should be no less than 250 words.
